Cosmic Crew Blog - July 10, 2009

What a great whirlwhind of dates. First out to Halifax for two performances on Breakfast Television, and then off to Q104 for an on air interview and performance, then back to Moncton to pick up our drummer at the airport and off to Charlottetown for a rocking show with the great cats at Babas!

Next off, a double bill with the great Mike Trask at the Seahorse ( love this guy!) and then Chris was back in Moncton working with State of Shock and Burton-Cummings.

After that … Stanfest! We had an amazing time at Stanfest this year! A beautiful spot – despite the mud! An amazing group of volunteers … I mean, wow! The cooks an volunteers at Camp Glasgow were truly outstanding! And the bands ripped it up every night! Divorcees, Tom Fun, Mike Trask, Samantha Robichaud, Christina Martin, Corb Lund and Pink Thunder were just a few of the great performances we saw over the weekend ( COSMIC CREW : http://ping.fm/QSlkv ). Also a special shout out to Chris Greencorn who rocked it out on lead guitar playing with Chris C. A future guitar master in the making!

And a very special Stanfest memory from Nathan and Kelly … seeing you guys rock out in the front row of the Stanfest folk festival and fighting with the police for your standing room while yelling/hooting/cheering us on was the absolute BEST! The folkies were definitely concerned, but we’re glad you amped it up NB style! You both totally rock.

Next off … Chris and drummer Shawn are in France with Roch Voisine for a week … and then … shows in Alberta and BC!
